bunkerbstr Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Trokar tube hook for sure. Eagle Claw makes a tube hook too - Shaw Grigsby HP hook. It has a clip to lock the bait on the hook. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted May 16, 2015 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted May 16, 2015 Yup, Trokar hook. I use them for flipping, pitching. I use the Eagle Claw HP hooks for finesse fishing. Quote
kLuo Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 What size Trokar tube hook do you guys use for 3.5" tubes? Quote
DCales84 Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 I picked up some 2/0 trokar tube hooks about a week and and they fit the strike king 3.5" coffee tubes well. Cant confirm the exact fitments for the larger sizes but would imagine a 3/0 would work as well and a 4/0 may be a bit much for the 3.5" strike kings. Quote
nicksmurf111 Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 I'll have to try that. I tossed a tube with a tube jug head inside of it, into some pads on Saturday and came up with a nice bass on the first cast. But it wasn't weedless and I got hung up pretty bad too. Quote
