Dolphin/mahi +Old Bay+butter in a cast iron skillet. There are a lot of tasty fish in the salt, it's really up who ever is doing the eating. Some people will even tell you how much they like mullet.

Yup, that would be me!  Well at least when I was a kid that is.  I haven't had it since.  When I was young I loved to eat smoked mullet.  It might actually have been my favorite.

Grouper, yellowtail snapper, Mutton snapper, Mahi (aka: dolphin). Gotta love South Florida!!

We use to catch 60 to 80 a day (yellowtail) around Puerto Rico, also small Cuda Even with the mercury warnings we ate them about everyday! Great fish!

Smoked bluefish are very, very good! I like Grouper, Dolphin, kings(on the grill) and my all time favorite, Spots.

Deep fried spots, grits, fried cornbread, green beans, and tea. Good stuff!

Grouper, snapper, sea bass. Meaty fish. I got to go on a long weekend to FL as a work retreat once. I ate grouper every lunch and dinner for 4 days.

Yup that's what people tell me, they even have a mullet festival up in Mims, FL where it's supposed to be real tasty.

Fishing the St.Johns @ Jacksonville, I use to watch the locals roll carts down to the river. Onboard those carts were bags of chicken feed, they would chum the river, then with cane poles and sometimes just a bare hook, other times a bit of yarn... Catch 10 to 20 mullet a trip, 14" to 16" fish.. Go eat them & come back the next day!

I never tryed mullet, to many other great fishes to settle on that for me...
