I went on Saturday afternoon/evening.  It was raw.  Rough, cold, and windy.  The water temperature was only 54 degrees on Green Lake near Willmar so I anchored and walleye fished with a slip bobber for a while instead.  When the water warms up in the next couple weeks I'll start bass fishing.
