Your Favorite Polarized Glasses?

I have been looking for some comfortable but my style glasses.  The ones I have are ok but hurt my head after awhile.  I have a pair of cheap Berkleys from walmart and they are ok.  I bought a $60 pair of suncloud's and they are better but I feel like they don't work as well as they should.  What is your guys' preference?  I was looking at the strike king ones.  I am not spending 150 bucks on glasses though so let me just throw that out there lol.

I have a cheap pair of Berkley's with Cables on the back I like pretty good. I'd say buy Costa's they are definitely the best on the market but you don't want to spend that much... Heard a few things about Wiley X's but not idea the cost of them

Serengeti Lamone>  I go them for about $75.  A week later, I saw them for $300 at a sunglass shop.  One of the best investments I have ever made. Great sunglasses.

If you don't want to spend $150 go spend $225 for Smith Backdrop with copper photochromic lens. Really you should save for the best pair and then you'll never be left wanting more performance out of your glasses because you will know that what you have is top of the line.  You'll never look back.  I have 60 Suncloud as well. Night and day difference between my Smith and Suncloud.  Suncloud lets light in, doesn't adjust to conditions, not as clear, gives headache.  Smith better coverage, much higher quality lens (glass), better clarity, no headaches, lenses adjust to light conditions. Theres probably a ton of other differences between Suncloud and a high quality lens. Oh the best difference is that glass is much harder to scratch and will last so much longer.

If you want a quality pair of comfortable sunglasses, you're going to need to spend some money. The good news is you can find something for considerably less than $150, you just need to put some time into your search. I found a pair of WileyX polarized for $50 new and that included shipping. Check out places like E Cop and sportsmanship guide. They often run specials on close outs.

So let me ask you this........What exactly is your vision and your eyes worth to you?  $15-$60? A cheap pair of sunglasses will definately help save your vision.  But then after buying 2-3 pair of "cheap" glasses you have basiclly spent the same amount of money on a quality pair of eyewear which you will take better care of since you paid a bit more for them.  I use less expensive ones at work due to the fact I don't want to destroy a pair of Keanon's but when I'm home I don't go anywhere without my glasses.  Look online, you can find discounted  quality glasses (mine were $110 a pair instead of $200+) if you look.  With that said my preferred brand of glasses are Kaenon's.  But the WileyX glasses aren't bad either if you can find them for the deal above.

Oakley fast jackets for me. To me there is a very obvious difference in the lense clarity between cheap glasses and something of quality.

wiley x echo are my choice.   i cannot comment on the other choices of other people as i have never used them.

wiley x echo polarized , removable insert keeps the light out from behind and the side.   mine are awesome.   under $90 including freight.  try to find local so you can try them on. see how they fit and feel.

I can't afford prescription sunglasses so I use the polarized strike king clip ons for $8 at Walmart. I'm happy with them. Not the most stylish but I'm a function over form guy.

costa. pricey but worth every penny. like its been mentioned already x amount of cheap sunglasses over time will cost more than one pair that will last a lifetime.

I've been using the Cocoons fit-overs with my glasses. I can't swing for a polarized RX pair either. I've got a pair with dark gray lenses for the car/general use and a pair with the mirrored blue lenses for the boat. I'm happy with them so far.

I tried low-end and high-end glasses at BPS. I couldn't tell the difference; both made me uncomfortable because vision seemed slightly distorted, just not clear. I ended up buying some for $20. I returned them after a week, just not satisfied. If I don't want to wear them, might as well return them. I am thinking I will have to get prescription lenses. And don't know what to get. For good vision, I'd pay. I know one thing... my regular glasses... major disappointment. I paid about $500 and I have no idea how it happened but I got a terrible scratch right in my line of vision within days of getting them. The lens has to be very soft for that to have happened. It's just ridiculous that lenses are so soft. I still can't figure out how it happened.

the new Salt Life Optics are awesome.  I find myself wearing them more than my Smith Optics

I have a pair of hobie pre cabo that are about 10 years old. They are now called cabo I believe. They have copper lens and they are decent fishing glasses

I wear Strike King S11 sunglasses, amber lens.  They hurt my head the first couple times I wore them, but now I don't even notice they are on my head.  Less than $40.

I wear Electric or Von Zipper polarized sunglasses. They are not "fishing specific" but they have good quality polarized lenses and can be had at decent prices off of that one really big auction site, it rhymes with Sea Ray. I probably have 3-4 pairs of Electrics and Von Zippers that I rotate through.

The Fish finder's from Foster Grand, I think, are at Bass Pro, and are a lot better than my Cocoons, and they are like 20 bucks...If you wear the type that fit over glasses get those Fish finders.

If you're looking for something really stylish... Not too expensive, and polorazide a pair of Knockaround's w/amber lenses will run you like $25. I got them in My Chubbies Mancrate of Immeasurable Partytude and they are awesome but I only where them when at the ball park, ectm

Costas on clearance. Apparently the price depends on how stylish the frame is (not sure). I have a pair with grey lenses, and one with amber ones.

I have two pair of Spy "Dirk" sunglasses, one with dark grey non-polarized lenses for my daily motorcycle commute (polarized lenses don't play well with the shield on my helmet) and another pair with bronze polarized "Happy Lenses". Both pair were bought brand new, and neither pair was over $40 shipped to my door.
