Ok, I was eating my pancakes this morning and I had a thought suddenly whoosh into my head.

That being....hanging a large inline spinner, on the back of a swim jig.   Like using an inline spinner as  swim jig trailer.

Hmmmm...

That's really only the extent of the amount of thought Ive put in to this.

switchblade jig?

Nope....Im thinking taking something like a Mepps or Blue Fox spinner, Maybe a No. 5, and just hang the whole thing on the jig hook.  put the jig hook right through the eyelet of the spinner and secure it.

Man, you need more sleep or something... :eyebrows:  Kidding, kidding, but the spinner might fall off while casting.

Hence the term...."secure it."

They Make a few swim Jigs with a Willow blade on the hook, I think War Eagle makes it....Or Hart, I have never used it myself but sounds like a good idea as it would be a spinnerbait/swim jig hybrid, I would think they would work well.

I played around with a blade on a jig for a little one day but didn't catch anything. I found a shop by my house that sells all kinds of part for wire type baits insanely cheap. I ended up getting a bunch of stuff and messed around with some lures. I did make a ridiculous amount of inline spinners for a friend and it cost like nothing and was extremely easy to do. I would never actually pay for one again after that. Not to mention he said mine caught more fish and I can make it custom.
