I'm looking for a paint that produces a true mirror - like chrome finish like you find on a blue/chrome bandit crankbait. Anyone know where to find such a thing without spending an arm and a leg? Thanks.

Not paint, but I use a silver leaf kit purchased at our local art supply store. Made by Delta and is called Renaissance Foil. It works for me and does not cost and arm or leg. Complete kit that includes the base coat, adhesive, sealer, and even the antique if you are interested.

Cost about 12.00 and has enough material to cover twenty lures at least.

For grins I tried the antique on several and they look very lifelike in the water. The fracture seems to help deflect light and one is allready in my favorites box.

No chrome paints that don't cost an arm and leg.   there are some automotive paints that look pretty good.
