wisconsin heat Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 How big is too big? This one isn't intended for bass fishing, but do you think you would ever throw one? This bad boy is 15 3/4 " long and weighs between 24-25 3/4 ounces!! Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted May 7, 2015 Super User Posted May 7, 2015 LOL....I didn't watch the video, but I'd fully expect that thing to start singing "Don't Worry. Be Happy" 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted May 7, 2015 Global Moderator Posted May 7, 2015 One of the biggest bass I've ever seen was swimming away from my boat with a bass about that size, that was still attached to my jerkbait, in her mouth crossways. Unfortunately she spit the fish out instead of trying to swallow it the rest of the way. I'd never fish it, but I'd like to see the results of someone who does successfully. I'm sure there's someone out there that will try it. Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted May 7, 2015 Super User Posted May 7, 2015 Can't see the video at work. I'm guessing from the responses it's either a Deps Code Name Bass or something from Yoshi Ando? Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted May 7, 2015 Super User Posted May 7, 2015 This is not a bass bait ~ Pike & Musky not doubt. At around 24 ounces - that's like casting an A-Rig set up with FIVE 8 inch Hudds . Good Luck with that. Does have a nice action though. I'd be trolling that one. A-Jay Quote

Cgrinder Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 I predict we'll see Speedbead throwing that before the year is over. Quote

LOL, I think ol' Mads Grosell may have exceeded my limitations with that one. Now that I know what it is, it definitely was designed to troll for pike over in Europe. I'm sure a few will make it up to MN/WI and will meet the teeth of a few large predators there. Quote
OntarioFishingGuy Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Some of the musky guys up here throw a bait called the 'Pounder Double Dawg'. It's not as heavy, but it's 20'' long. That bait looks really nice though. Quote
OpAnglers Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 This is insane! I would never buy a swimbait this big. But I mean if it was given to me for free I might try it out just for laughs. Quote
