robster80 Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 my local tackle store has these for 10.99 so i picked up a couple. dont see many reviews on them was just wondering if anyone uses this bait in their topwater arsenal and have good luck with it? Quote
primetime Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 I am super curious about the Bonnie, have been eyeballing it and it has been in my cart many times but I always remove it before checkout...I still am not sure what it is, or does, a review would be great...Even just letting us know the action, how it casts, and what it does that makes it so special, they market it as a hybrid ripbait/topwater and I have thought it could be a good lure for over grass, I like the fact it is in a clearance bin, that means people are not throwing it and so far nobody responded so it may be a sleeper. Super User Hooligan Posted May 8, 2015 Super User Posted May 8, 2015 The Bonnie is a good bait, easy to walk and relatively good paint. It's very similar to a Sammy, overall. That said, I really prefer the Bowstick to the Bonnie. As well, I'll fish the Pro Tuned Rover over ANY wtd top water out there today. It's unbelievable in terms of action, noise, and ease. It's a bait that can move several feet without moving forward much more than a foot. It's excellent. Quote
