I've been trying to figure out how to dye/chnage  color patterns on a 6" Huddleston, but having one heck of a time with longevity on the color. Not looking for something like Spike-it. Trying to add specific detail. I been told they are hand painted, which sounds weird to me. I would think they're dyed. Any help would be greatly apprciated.

Thank you for your time!

Not completely certain but I think Lurecraft makes a paint for soft plastics that is airbrushed or hand painted on.

Sharpies tend to bleed through and spread out on these, leaving little or no detail.

Use the soft plastic paints mentioned above.  They will last longer and stay more "focused" in the area intended.
