About three weeks ago the main spawn happened in my ponds. I started working a summer job that week and didn't have the time to fish. My buddy at the pond told me he caught 14 bass over three pounds :(. I was really really disappointed at missing the bed fish. I had been looking forward to it for about a year and I was ticked off when I learned I had missed it.

Well, today I went to the pond and found the bluegill spawning like crazy, sometimes even jumping out of the water in their excitement. Saw some bass circling around but only caught a little dink on a senko. Then, I found a bed with a late couple on it. Only saw the male at first, was about 2 pounds. Started fishing for him. I really sucked at sight fishing and it took me about 30 minutes to figure out how to get the bass to get really ticked at my bait. Was fishing a small Kalin's grub and got it to bite 3-4 times, but he wasn't committing. Then I finally realized that I had picked up my first bag of Rage Craws at Bass Pro yesterday and I put one on and and finally caught him. Well after I released it I saw the big female cruise in. Hard to judge but I'd put her at somewhere between 4/12 and 5 1/2. Really nice bass. Well I started fishing for her with the Rage Craw. She got upset and left the bed, and I pitched out past it. Felt a weight and punched the hook home. She was on! I fought her next to the bank and was trying to figure out how to land her when the bait popped out of her mouth and one super upset female left the area.  :cry3: She would have been my second biggest fish.

Anyway, I had a blast bed fishing for the first time and I'm thrilled to death about the Rage Craws. Don't have a lot of money for Rage baits but out of the two of their products I've used I can truly say I love them. Can't wait to land some more fish on the Rage Craw.

Yup, seems to be a very versatile bait.

Rage Craws are a neat little bait. They also make a nice trailer. Bass hit them hard.

I fish them on the back of my Chatterbaits and get more bites on the fall than any other trailer it seems. Yoyoing them produces some pretty awesome strikes....

Iv`e never tried any Rage tail products but it sounds like I should with all the positive responses on here.

One question, how durable is the plastic and how soft compared to Gyb plastics.
