Those look like unweighted Z man Trigger hooks. I think they're discontinued, but you can still find them on eBay.

What would you use those for?

T-Rigs, Paddle Tails, Swimbaits etc.. Like a hook with a screw keeper, this one just uses a barb. They work well as they don't tare Senko's up as much. Brian.

Yep, Z-Man Trigger Hook. The original version was made by Lew's way back in the day and called a "Speed Sticker." Ebay has a bunch, and I saw a large assorted package at Outlet Bait & Tackle.

Me either! I have now. Anyone have a pic with one of these hooks rigged up on a bait I could see?

I used those hooks back in the day. Until one fish, firmly hooked, sent the bait flying off. When I lipped that fish, the first thrashing headshake buried that small barb in the side of my thumb. All the way in. The hook point was jammed into the side of my thumb knuckle. Took a trip to the emergency room to have it removed.

Needless to say, I do not use those hooks.

I have some like that, I thought they used to come with some brand of tube baits. I've used them for weightless t-rigging, but they are low quality.

I first saw that hook design in the early 80's, and it seems every so often that it re-born, or re-marketed as it were.   I believe that LEW's originally marketed that hook design and it seems to me that there have been several incarnations of it prior to the current Z-Man version.  I've tried it several times over the decades, probably still have some in one of my old hook boxes.

I remember thinking at the time that if I wanted a light wire finesse hook, it was a little heavy and if I wanted a heavy duty texas rig hook, it was a little light.  Try it and make your own judgements.  I think that more than one fisherman had the experience that ghoti did and that is why they aren't more commonly marketed.

It is an interesting concept that does solve the problem of your bait balling up on the hook shank when you set the hook.

Nice thing about them is that if you don't like them, you can use them to hang your shower curtain.
