How many different species have you caught while fishing for bass?

I caught these two almost back to back a couple days ago.

They had high hopes to say the least!

I thought it was ironic to catch a bluegill on a bluegill crank bait...

We were on the Susquahanna Smallie fishing last week and I couldn't keep the Walleye at bay. Brian.

I came very close to hooking what I believe to be a Pumpkinseed on a Rebel Buzz Frog the other night. However, this Cutthroat taken on a Norman Squarebill takes the cake for me:

I often catch bluegills on bass baits. Throwing spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and jerkbaits, I have caught yellow and white perch, crappie, catfish, bowfin, and pickerel while TRYING to catch bass. Once I was lucky enough to catch a musky while bass fishing. That was fun.

I love that crank bait. And I had to comment on a fellow glock man living in indiana:-):-)

I had bluegill hitting my bass lures left and right last time I was bass fishing.  The swimjigs and TX rigs were too large to hook up, though.

That second pic. LOL

I love when fish hit a lure almost half their body length and more. :-)

i've caught crappie, bluegill, catfish, bass and trout in the same day with a small floating jerkbait.  always fun to try and guess what you've hooked into....

I pulled this one in a couple weekends ago using a lipless crank.  He couldn't even fit the lure in his mouth, just got snagged on the hooks.  It was an awesome fight though.  I forgot how hard catfish can fight so I initially thought I hooked a striper, but no just a desperate catfish.

Cranky Catfish

Other than this for the most part I have caught a ton of pickerel on bass lures, but not much else.  The one I did find funny though was when the bass weren't biting so I switched up to catch some panfish just to catch something.  After catching a handful of bream on a beetle spin I was shocked to pull this guy out.

Beetle Baby Bass

This was technically my first bass this year so I was stoked to catch it especially since by that point I had given up on catching any bass.

I got a pretty good size blue gill the other night with the Ned rig!! It was at night so it surprised the heck out of me when I get it up on the shore!

One of my favorite lakes it's not unusual to catch a largemouth, smallmouth, spot, green sunfish, channel cat, walleye, white bass, crappie, and drum all in the same day on the same bait. I call a day like that the Melvern Slam :)

Once I caught about a 7 inch bluegill on a Skitter Pop. BTW I found the Skitter Pop just sitting on the shore earlier that same year.

First two caught with zoom lizzard had one other get off and last one caught with ned rig. All 3 caught in 2 days on medium spinning tackle 8 lb fluorocarbon in ohio

Got bit off the week before on a kvd lipless bait too.

Never caught a musky when i was fishing for them with those expensive lures i guess nobody told them they aren't supposed to eat bass lures.
