Super User Redlinerobert Posted May 1, 2015 Super User Posted May 1, 2015 Looking forward to watching this. Pac has a good chance. The fact that he's a southpaw gives me hope that he'll be the one to silence the dope. Quote
Super User F14A-B Posted May 1, 2015 Super User Posted May 1, 2015 I'm pulling for pac as well.. Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 $99 just to watch it on pay per view. Ouch. It could be over in 5 seconds. 1 Quote
blackmax135 Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 $99 dollars to watch to grown men brawl it out and could end in just 2 seconds blows my mind. It also shows who has the most heart in this fight by mayweather only doing it if he gets the majority of the money. I really want to see who ever wins it to get a KO and not by decision. I really hope the pac man gets it. I have never seen such a humble rich man and have the heart he has. There is no doubt Mayweather is an amazing fighter but pac man has the passion to take him out. I'm going to wait for people to post it on youtube. Quote
endless Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 $99 for real?? I haven't tried to find out price yet. Even gor this fight way to high to have suck a crap undercard. As a Cruz fan his opponent might be his weakest fight yet and Lemachencko fighting somebody I never heard of after the Gary Russell Jr fight. I just wished they would start putting bigger undercards together. Red-you know what they say beats a southpaw?? Quote
Super User Darren. Posted May 1, 2015 Super User Posted May 1, 2015 I'm not really a boxing fan, but I've enjoyed a few bouts over the years... That said, I'm pulling for Paq if for nothing else than Mayweather's abuse toward women, and the fact that I'd like to see him finally lose. Both good reasons, IMO. Hope Manny has one win left for tomorrow. Oh, and I'm not paying for a fight. Never have, never will... 1 Quote

Matthew2000 Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Guess who has two thumbs and is getting the fight. Quote
Catch 22 Posted May 2, 2015 Author Posted May 2, 2015 My local sports bars are bulking on the $2500 to $3500 charges that the cable/sat companies want to let them show it. Can`t say I blame them. C22 Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted May 2, 2015 Super User Posted May 2, 2015 This fight would have been awesome about 6 years ago when it should have happened. 1 Quote
The one that got away Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 This fight should have happened five years ago when they were both in their prime. This should be their third fight by now. Like pretty much everyone else on the face of the earth, I hope Pacquaio knocks him out but I think it will be Mayweather by decision. Five years ago, I'd bet on Pacquaio but probably not now. I never buy PPVs and I won't buy this one either. I'd feel like a slimeball knowing that some of my hard earned money will end up in Floyd's pocket. It'll be midnight on the East Coast by the time the fight actually starts anyway. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted May 2, 2015 Super User Posted May 2, 2015 Not me I got ripped off paying for the sphinx Tyson fight. Was it 21 seconds of the first round. Quote

Super User Fishing Rhino Posted May 2, 2015 Super User Posted May 2, 2015 On showtime it says "FROM $89.95" I would never pay that. Ten dollars more for HD. That ninety dollar price is for standard definition. I definitely have infinitely more places to better spend a "C" note. Quote
TrippyJai Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 You can't compare Tyson who was knocking out guys left and right in his prime. This fight is worth the $100 if you're a boxing fan and will most likely go to a decision. I agree it should have happened a long time ago and lost a bit of steam. I'm pulling for Pac, see Mayweather winning this. I have a feeling if it goes to a close decision, they will give it to Pac setting up a rematch. Too much money involve here and boxing is known to be corrupt. Quote

YOU GOTTA PAY FOR HD!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????? I thought that should already be provided with my television provider!! lol I'm not worried about it will be in HD on youtube Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted May 2, 2015 Super User Posted May 2, 2015 $90 seems like a lot unless you compare it to any other professional sports event. There are very limited seats live, and a huge number of people who want to see this fight. Mayweather has a lot of expenses-cars, clothes, lawyers... Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted May 2, 2015 Super User Posted May 2, 2015 I haven't been following boxing for about 20 years, not partial to either of the combatants. I've seen fights closed circuit, sat in the stadium stands, ring side seats and on the apron for championship fights held in Detroit. $90 IMO is not expensive to view the fight in the comfort of your home, actually you'll see the fight better, but nothing like the excitement of being there. I can still remember Tommy Hearns taking the title from Pipino Cuevas, the electricity when a hometown guy wins the title in his home stadium was awesome. Quote
