Now that they have been out a while, any tips on, hook size, weight, best plastic to rig on it,etc? Ordered a couple 1/2 and 3/4oz on 4/0 hooks from ebay.

They work with just about any plastic on them, I like the original Biffle Bug but I also like a Sweet Beaver on them as well. As for weight it depends on how deep you are fishing and how you are fishing them. I use them exactly as they were designed to be used, and that is like a crankbait, reeling it and keeping contact with the bottom, and if you want to use them like that the weight is going to depend on how deep you are fishing it. I like a 7/16oz head for water 5' to 7' and deeper than that I use 11/16oz.

I always like to use a trailer with some kicking action. The bass really seem to like that, it makes sone noise as well as attract fish

I like the 4/0 hook in about 3/8 or 1/2. I have been using Structure bugs and Menaces lately on them.

Here is one rigged with a structure bug in the Sway Skirted then an unskirted version.

Thanks. I'm gonna give them a try. Wonder how they do with 10" worms and would it be better to drag up or down a ledge?

Yes!  The Jika rig is good too.  Easy to make.

I actually made a few Jika rigs a couple years ago and never tried them out.
