1. Does the Sammy (100 size) come stock with a split ring on the line-tie?

2. Does the Popmax come stock with a split ring on the line-tie?

3. What's the size and brand of the stock trebles on the Popmax?

Thanks guys.

I don't know the brand of the hooks on the Pop max, but the size is a number 4.

I am 99% sure there's no split ring on the Pop Max, but I can't confirm right now. No split ring on the Sammy either.

Popmax Cicada on the right (no split ring).

3 on the left are Popmax knock offs. Came with split rings, but I will test to see if I like it with or without.

I got the customs last year late in teh year and have not fished them yet.

My 100 Sammys do not have split rings on the line tie and that's how I fish them.

I think mine have oval line ties, but then again I don't use luckies as much as I used to and I modify most lures out of the package anyhow, especially topwaters, I feel all the hooks are too small most of the time and split rings to small as well so fish throw them too easy..

I am not familiar with Megabass except for the few I own but will never throw since they are simply conversation pieces, I can't get into $20 bills for lures that I give the action to...
