I caught my biggest Brook Trout yesterday. :) That was because it was my first Brook Trout and It was probably about 6 inches long. LOL :laugh5: I caught it with worms on an ice fishing rod in a tiny creek.

That's a really nice Brook Trout congrats!! My biggest Brookie is around 17 inches. Caught it with worms. It looked a lot like a lake trout but I caught it in a creek. Good luck everyone!! :high-five:

Last year I hooked an 11 inch Brook Trout in a different creek but it got off. I was using worms with a light spinning rod. My brother caught it later on a small maribou jig. Later that same day after he caught it I hooked it again on a crickhopper but it got off again.

But you have to use little baits and sewing thread thin line to catch trout  :laugh5:

I love catching trout on jerkbaits, they about rip the rod out of your hands when they bite. Never caught a brookie, but it's on my to do list :)

Great fish!

My brother and I caught a pair of 15"ers there last fall on x-raps but that thing is a tank! State citation is 16" so you pretty much blew that out of the water.
