The lakes around me were blown out from recent storms, so my buddy and I decided to try something a little different.

As an A-Team fan from way back....I love it when a plan comes together. ;)

It's about time. I have anxiously awaited your first nice fish of the season. I'm sure that will not be the last this year.

It was a Nude Black 250. Probably not the optimal color for what I could see of his water but AFAIK it was the only color 250 he had. Definitely looked open enough (no visible weeds) to work a 250 around. He had forgotten the bait at home.

Thought that was what it was. Forgot? Looking back hes probably realising what he missed without it. My god i need to get one.

My swim bait rod was here in michigan and it was 70 dollars round trip to ship it down to FLA and back up. Do i regret not brining it? Yes but i think it will me more productive and i will enjoy using it more in MI. Sometime in the future i will ship it down.

I recommend it for sure. Those areas you fished showed a good healthy population of bass. Thw big baits will reveal bass you never knew were in there and hopefully youll get one.

When my wife finds the box for a 250 in the garage I'm blaming you!  :eyebrows:

LOL, short and fat just like I like 'em. 21" X 18"

Digi had it at 6-13 on two different scales.
