I was going through some of my dad's old tackle bags and found this lure inside. I thought it was pretty interesting with the actually screws on the the bottom where you could take off the metal fin  and diver up front. 

 

Does anyone know the company's name of it and perhaps year? thanks

That is a bait originally made by the Clark Co. called a "water scout". Later they were just made by the water scout bait company. The newer version is called the Spence Scout and is or was manufactured by Strike King. Originals were produced in the mid 30's and had no eyes. Most you find today were made much later probably in the 80's & 90's.

I wouldn't throw that one, the newer spence scouts didn't have the keel on them.
