This might be a dumb question, but can i switch the gears out of my Chronarch 50e with Core Mg7 gears to make it a 7 gear ratio? Do they fit or are there a different set of gears i need to do this with? Thank you in advance?

Yep! Just did it myself. Let me find the thread and the

part numbers that 21Farms gave me. Then you order

straight from Shimano.

Ok, you want the following parts:

BNT4046 - Drive Gear

BNT4050 - Pinion Gear

I upgraded both of my 50e's to these for a mere $48.80

Will using aluminum gears from the core create problems?

No! Tackle Tour did mention in their review of the Aldebaran MG7 (same as Core 50MG7) that there might be a question in regards to long term durability of the aluminum gears in the Aldebaran MG7. I think the Core 50MG7 has the same aluminum gears as the Aldebaran MG7 but I haven't read of people having problems with the aluminum gears. Myself, I will be getting the Brenious gears because they are faster.
