BIG M Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 you might try using some 1/32 inch thick polycarbonate (lexan), you can heat with a lighter to make the cup face. The polycarbonate will not tear and should last several yrs. You can find the stuff at micromark tools and other hobby stores. It's used a lot on model airplanes. Quote

BIG M Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 The thin stuff is somewhat pliable but you may can soak it in hot water for minute and make it more pliable. I have really wanted to try one of those jigs. Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted November 29, 2008 Super User Posted November 29, 2008 Big M, I dont think that lexan would work. I think that the blade has to be very pliable so that it lays down when you set the hook. Quote

bowtech_182 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 You might try going to Lowe's in the plumbing section. Look at the bulk tubing section. there is some clear tubing that may be cut up to work. Quote

detroit1 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Look around the house at bottles. Windex, laundry soap, hand lotion, or what have you might work. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted November 30, 2008 Super User Posted November 30, 2008 never held one before, but it looks like some kind of PVC to me. Quote
