I've caught a few, nothing over 2 pd for sure, that thing is gargantuan!!

Well even if it was caught in 2007 it's still a big croaker.  Biggest one I've caught might have been 2lbs.  Mostly fish under a pound. But they do fight well on light line.

I have never seen a croaker even half that size.  Very popular fish down here, I don't target them.
