Mista bass Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 We got the pattern figured out we think and we got a limit of some really decent fish today. We got a good chance going into this tournament. Check out this chunky momma! 1 Quote

Super User 00 mod Posted April 21, 2015 Super User Posted April 21, 2015 OK, so now the question is.....how did the tourney end up? Jeff Quote
DevinFishing29 Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 That's a beast! Did you win the tourney???? Quote
wuchr20 Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 How did the tourney go? BTW that's a one chunky fish. Quote
Mista bass Posted April 25, 2015 Author Posted April 25, 2015 We came in 7th with 25.56 pounds and I had second biggest fish with 4.3 pounds. I only missed lunker by 3 ounces and 29 pounds won so it was really close. I caught our 3 biggest fish, all over 4. This was my first tournament ever so I'm pretty happy with how I did. Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted April 25, 2015 Super User Posted April 25, 2015 Congrats on the great day, but I think you mistypes the weights. If the biggest was 4.3, now way you could have weighted 25.56 for a 5 fish tourney! Jeff Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted April 25, 2015 Super User Posted April 25, 2015 Congrats on the great day, but I think you mistypes the weights. If the biggest was 4.3, now way you could have weighted 25.56 for a 5 fish tourney! Jeff And the winner at 29 pounds would be a 5.8 average for five fish tournament. Must be a mistake or not the best five weighed. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted April 25, 2015 Super User Posted April 25, 2015 Could have been a 6 fish limit. Common here for smallie tourneys on Lake Michigan 1 Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted May 6, 2015 Super User Posted May 6, 2015 But even with 6 fish, if the biggest was 4.3 and the other 5 were 4.2, that would still only be 25.3 (if my math is correct) Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted May 6, 2015 Super User Posted May 6, 2015 And if 29 won it, that puts the average fish at 4.8 which is more than a 3 oz difference. Quote
