shanksmare Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 When I lived up north I used 14# mono pretty much exclusively. Upon moving to Florida I soon switched to 17# and finally 20# Sufix Siege. The size of the fish and the density of the weeds prompted the switch. I have tried flourocarbon and braid at various times. I don't care for flouro and reserve thel use of braid for super thick weeds. Quote
