Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone can give me a website/link that will get me to some Lew's replace gears. I'm looking to swap out Lew's BB1 Speed Spool Casting Reel. Left Hand 5.1:1 to a 7.1:1.

Any help would be great.

Lew's will sell you the parts, but out of curiosity, why jump through the hoops of a gear swap when the reel is readily avialable in the speed you want?

I can't seem to find the BB1 in that gear ratio in left handed (they make the right handed in 7.1:1 but I can't find it in left). I see that they make a Wide spool one which I am considering picking up. But I have the option to pick up a BB1 for a great price so depending on how much the gears cost it would be cost effective (maybe) to do it that way.

Yup I'm aware of that I'm just saying I can't find it in left. But I know that some of the other higher priced left reels comes in 7.1:1. The body's look the same as the BB1 so I was hoping that the gears are interchangeable.

I know the lazer, MG torn, tourn pro, team gold, team pro, all have the same gears but the BBI and Super Duties I believe have different gear sets. Like was said earlier, call them direct and talk to Rick, he will fix you up if anyone can once and for all.

P.S. forgot to mention gear alloys differ between these reels but they are interchangeable to the best of my recollection,,,,,thats worth exactly what you paid for it,,,, Rick will correct me if I'm wrong,,,,, :wink3:
