Zach Nute Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Hey everyone, I have a quick question. I have a battery that is having a difficult time holding a charge (I have a onboard battery charger). This battery is to start my outboard but my Lowrance HDS 9 Touch is also hooked up to the same battery. I'm in the market for buying a new battery and was wondering what everyone's favorite battery is..!? Thanks! -Zach Quote

Thornback Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 X2. Interstate batteries have a great reputation. Quote

CDMeyer Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 I know some might think they are cheap, but I like the Everstart batteries. They have been good for me and what I have put them through ( everyday for at least 6 hours fishing in the summer months) a lot of that time spent on the trolling motor. Quote
Super User Jeff H Posted May 17, 2015 Super User Posted May 17, 2015 Trojan are top quality as well Suppoedly. I just bought a set for my trolling motor. Very expensive! Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted May 18, 2015 Super User Posted May 18, 2015 The only cranking battery that I have found for running my aerator and both hds units is the Sears PM-1 AGM. Mine is 4 years old and still keeps everything going + it has 1150 CCA to crank my old Optimax in the winter. Quote
