Favorite - spinnerbait (it can be used effectively under a variety of conditions)

Most effective - Its situational - sunny vs cloudy, water clarity, water depth, prevalent baitfish, wind,  existing cover, mood of fish (active vs not), etc

Jitterbugs always make me smile. I probBly catch more fish on cranks than anything else. My favorite to use are jigs.

Caught more fish on a fluke than anything else, but becoming a real fan of the chatter-bait. Scum frog is a blast!

Favorite is a hollow body frog.  Most effective is a Zoom finesse worm.

Just got in Mann's Reel N' Shad and War Eagle buzzbait. Though i have only caught one fish with them they are my new favorites. My favorite tried and true baits is a Zara Puppy and a texas rigged worm.

I love to Chunk & Wind so it stands to reason that crankbaits are at the top of the list for me. Lipless & Square bills specifically.

Frogs & Jigs are fun too - one you can see and the other you can't but they are fished in a similar fashion, slow.

However, I would be remiss if I didn't give Honorable mention to ~ The Scrounger.

Jig and craw is my favorite. My most productive so far this year have been crankbaits.
