zachb34 Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 It's pretty accesible on the Southside by the bridge and across from the airport also just have to park on the side of a side street. I'm not sure if it's allowed though I always use my boat but see people do it. Quote
zachb34 Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Also you can get under a lot of bridges taht hold some nice peacocks from the shore Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted April 18, 2015 Super User Posted April 18, 2015 Plenty of shore access and lots of parking, no problem on the side of the road. Quote
SFL BassHunter Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Going to be in the area tomorrow, wondering if there's much access to fish the bank. Hey bassinOut89, I am curious if you ended up going out there? I was there yesterday, fished Ida and Osborne off the bank but I was skunked in a major way. There is tons of Bank Fishing area on Osborne and a lot of it looks excellent. I was hoping to find pads like last time I was there but I couldn't find any. Not sure what happened but there was a side canal that was just full of them last time. The only pads I saw were way to far for me to cast into. The water was pretty darn murky and there was a ton of boats and jetski's out there. It was extremely hot out there too, I mean I am talking about melting hot. I haven't sweat so much fishing in a very long time. Quote

The area with the heavy pads you where talking about I believe is behind Palm Beach State College, near that firefighter training building. The pads died off in the winter since the water is about 1-3 feet deep and got cold really fast. They should be back come mid summer. There's a bunch of stumps in that area that I consistently catch fish from both Bass and the Peas. Quote
