Heron Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Previously, on "Is there a Black Hole in My Garage?"..... I lost a swim jig that I put together, It was no where to be found, and I was baffled because there was nowhere for it to hide, and no reason at all for it to be gone. It shouldve been easy to find, because it was Pink/White, with a 4.8 Keitech FAT trailer. And all I did was take it from the house, to the garage......what in the world? And now for the conclusion... I came to realize, that jig was missing...because.........(wait for it)......I never built it. Thats right, I couldnt find it, because it was never there. I mean I did built it previously, but I had since (like a month or so ago) changed my mind about the idea, and took it apart. I put the pink skirts on a spinnerbait, and rebuilt the jig with a silver shad skirt......which, just happens to be, sitting snuggly in by tackle box, right where it was always supposed to be. Whhoooosh....definitely had a bald moment there. Quote
RSM789 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Sometimes I will find that one of my tools is missing, go on a rant about others in the household not being responsible enough to put things back after using them & then find said tool exactly where I left it... Quote
lecisnith Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 I had a really nice travel coffee mug that my wife got me cor Christmas that I would take to work every day. One day I left it at work, went back the next day and someone ganked it. I was pretty irritated. Like, "Don't you people have anything better to do than wait for someone to leave something nice so you can steal it?" I walked around for two weeks asking everyone if they'd seen a black stainless steel coffee mug, because mine got swiped. Then last week I opened my cupboard of coffee mugs and there it was, on the top shelf. I guess when I walk around in a stupor at 4:00 AM I only look on the bottom shelf... Quote
Super User Master Bait'r Posted April 16, 2015 Super User Posted April 16, 2015 Sometimes I will find that one of my tools is missing, go on a rant about others in the household not being responsible enough to put things back after using them & then find said tool exactly where I left it... I work in a good sized metal shop and if I had a dollar for every time someone stopped mid-freakout while looking for a missing tool when they found it right under their nose, I could retire. Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted April 16, 2015 Super User Posted April 16, 2015 I don't know about your garage, but there's definitely a black hole in mine. Quote
waterdog1 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Still have that black hole in my garage. It's called a boat and I keep pouring money in it. Quote
Felixone Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Still have that black hole in my garage. It's called a boat and I keep pouring money in it. This reminders me a phrase I heard years ago. A boat is nothing more than a hole in the water you throw money into. Of course that hasn't stopped me from hiding pennies in hopes of buying my own hole real soon. Quote
