Green Trout Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 I am used to Berekly Vanish Flurocarbon. However, I am thinking of switching to Red Label. Is there a major down-grade in Red Label? Only reason I ask is because it is so cheaply priced compared to other flurocarbon lines out there.
Lucky Craft Man Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Well, here's the good news. There is only going up after using Berkley Vanish. Anything will be an improvement. 4
Ozark_Basser Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Red label is way better in my opinion. I've used them both quite a bit. There is no comparison. They both have issues with longevity, but red label is definitely your best bang for your buck.
ColdSVT Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Red label is much better...for a few bucks more invisx is even better! And with Mustad hook...oh my! 1
Ozark_Basser Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Green Trout, haven't we been through this more than once? Lol
bassinyea Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Vanish sucks dude. Red label is pretty decent though for the money. Please do yourself a favor and get the vanish off of your reel ASAP.
kcdinkerz Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 red label over vanish any day but red label frays easy so I only use it for open water application.
Super User roadwarrior Posted April 15, 2015 Super User Posted April 15, 2015 Green Trout, haven't we been through this more than once? Lol Hmm... Green Trout: Refer to your "content". We don't mind new guys asking any question even if it has been asked a thousand times. However, the same person asking the same questions in several formats is annoying. Good night Irene.
