BIG M Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 Here are a few new baits I've been working on. 4 inch jerkbait, 2 inch deep diver (pain), and ultra thin flatside (another pain). I've finally got working prototypes so now off to the testing grounds for fine tuning. Quote
whittler Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 Awsome baits there Marty, love that 2" diver. I hear you on the ultra thin baits, still have some I made a few years ago, 1/4" thick. I liked the action they had but think I was the only one who did or maybe they just didn't look right to fishermen. They do catch fish though. Quote
Stringjam Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 That 2" deep diver is killin'! I might as well just give you direct access to my account..... Quote
NEKvt Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 Nice paintwork for prototypes. I hope you at least do some bathtub testing before those paint jobs. Hate to think about those baits being duds and winding up in a corner somewhere. Quote
BIG M Posted November 3, 2008 Author Posted November 3, 2008 Yes those were float tested first. I always paint and finish a bait before testing because the topcoat can affect the action. Quote
