It puts out a handful of eights and sevens each year and I know of three over nine. My best on that lake is 7-13 and I have 5 others over seven pounds but you have to put a lot of time on the water to hit those numbers. A fish biologist told me they shocked a 12 something about five years ago. I can't find the memory card but I had the best fishing day of my life at Pot Holes. I caught 37 small mouth in the last hour of the day and one largemouth. The largemouth was over seven and I had five smallmouth over five pounds in the mix. Pot Holes is my favorite place to fish period. Quote
Barney Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 I have had great luck fishing in SW Washington over the years but have gone a bit "cold" over the last few years due to lack of fishing time. Several 6+ Lb LMB's. Anyone in Clark Count that actively fishes for bass? I have an awesome Fishing Kayak that I use. Would love to team up some time with someone who has a Kayak or even go out in my boat. I am also interested in understanding when pre-spawn is and what temperatures here in the Clark County area are for pre-spawn, spawn etc. that what works best. My best has been with Pig-Jig, tubes etc for pre-spawn but not sure if that's just luck. Quote
bilco Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 I have a 6 lb small mouth out of a western Washington lake and a couple of 7lb larges out of western Washington lakes they are there Quote

My Washington PB's are a 6-lb largemouth, and a 5-12 smallmouth. But it seems every year, somebody nails a 9+ in Washington. And 6+ pound smallies are becoming more frequent. They're there. It's possible. Hey glen. I just moved to Washington last week. I'm in port Townsend. Are there any bass clubs or any way to meet local anglers so I can get on some fish? Quote
NinjaAbassin Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 I just moved to to Arizona from Washington but I'm the 2 years I fished WASHINGTON state my largest was 7.2lb LMB and 3.84lb SMB. Hopefully the bass fishing in AZ is even better! ? Quote
