T W Parish Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Where can I find gold Hildebrandt 4 1/2 inline spinners ? another site has the spinners (two to a card) but only go up to size 4 I like my baits to have the thump that the 4 1/2 makes. Tom Quote
Super User smalljaw67 Posted April 14, 2015 Super User Posted April 14, 2015 I can help you if I knew which kind of spinner, Hildebrandt makes Idaho spinners, the little flicker spinners, snagless sally's and so on. If you just say an in-line that is a size 4.5 it does my no good, it is like saying I want pork for supper, pork loin, pork chops, etc. , my wife would kill me...LOL. Seriously, which in-line and I'll know where to get it. 1 Quote
twparish Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 It has a locking clip that permits the spinner to be attached to a jig head, etc. Will attach a pic -- I need a source of size 4 1/2 Quote
Super User smalljaw67 Posted April 19, 2015 Super User Posted April 19, 2015 Here you go http://store.yakimabait.com/product.php?productid=16239&page=1 These are Idaho spinners, they are just like a jig spinner only they are set up as an in-line instead of a safety pin type. I hope this helps. Quote
twparish Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Thanks, ---- that is exactly the info I wanted and I will order some. Tom Quote
Big C Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Appalachicola delta as in Eastpoint and St. George Island? Quote
twparish Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Yes - the river splits miles from the Bay and fans out with multiple mouths -- main river, Little St. Marks, Big St. Marks, Bob Jones, East River, etc. Quote
Big C Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Cool, I bet it's crazy being able to catch redfish and bass (best freshwater and saltwater gamefish in my opinion) in the same spot. Beautiful area too. Quote
marsfromva Posted March 23, 2020 Posted March 23, 2020 Are Hildebrandt spinner lures strictly for traditional spinning or baitcasters? Do fly fishers use these lures? I was gifted a handful of these things. Quote
Super User Paul Roberts Posted April 2, 2020 Super User Posted April 2, 2020 Well, a 4-1/2 is a big spinner blade. There are tiny ones one could cast with standard FF gear. Quote
