Academy H2O for soft body

Rage Tail & Stanley Ribbit for hard body

Not sure about best but I've been trying the *** frog, I like that it has realistic legs. I bent the hooks up and out a tad and catch too much salad with it. Others didn't have that problem.

As Catt penned, Academy H2O's are outstanding.

As for toads (hard bodies) Rage Tails are excellent but so are others in the marketplace so it is your duty to try different ones and let us know which ones YOU like!

The booyah pad crasher is a good frog too. I have 4 types in my collection: SPRO, live target, booyah, and strike king KVD. Of those 4, the pad crashers seem to get the most playing time.

BEST walking frog is the Slither K

BEST chug/tug frog is a Lunk3rhunt Lunker frog w a lake fork trailer hook.

BEST cheap all around hollow body bait that is easy to find is hands down the Livetarget field mouse. They get shredded but they also get slammed by everything.

I honestly would love to know in what manner Lunk3rhunt has smited BR to have their very name blocked as if it was a swear word lol

Which one is the best, varies from person to person. The brand that I really enjoy are Livetarget hollowbodies. Have been using them for years.

I've used frogs by Strike King, Spro, Livetarget, and Booyah. Of those I like the Booyahs the best. They do everything the others do, but have a softer body that still holds up to bass. Not to mention, they're easier on the wallet too.

windy day - furbit - furbit - furbit

any of the other frogs I've tried have worked well enough in fairly calm conditions - I do have a soft spot for snag proof in Tweety color.

I had many clients catch their personal best on the furbit - expensive, fragile, needs tweaking and repairing often but  an amazinly effective bait.

Well worth the expense and hassle, nothing else really performs as it does. We've fished it from Florida to mid south highland resevoirs and northern natural lakes, if you have the patience you may well catch a big bass if you stick with it.

This has been my experience, could not agree more. it's Booyah's Pad Crasher.

Are they more durable than the Spro frogs?

Snag Proofs Ish's Phat and Poppin Frogs.  They don't sink nor can you sink them, soft, durable, rattle already built in, oh and they catch fish.  And then the Bronzeye Shad, and LT Field Mouse.  Those would be my top three but throw the Ish's Phat  frog more then the others.  Easy to walk and gets bit.

For me it's the never talked about, little known, under appreciated little 'ol Scum Frog.

Yeah, yeah I know most folks throw the Spro, Booyah, Snag Proof etc.

and I guess for good reason.

But do yourself a favor, every once in a while go against the norm and conventional thinking, that the most popular has to be the best.

It's not

My favorite use to be the Strike King grass frog.. that trailer hook on it was money.. Just picked up a couple of those Sebile Pivot Frogs...

I haven't fished them all, but of the handful of frogs I've fished I like Booyah pad crasher best. Besides price I get just as many hits as any other hollow body frog, but personally I have a higher hook up percentage and landed fish on the pad crasher.

Chris I just picked up a pivot frog as well and hope to fish it tomorrow evening.
