whittler Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 As usual Marty just some beautiful work. Still using E-tex? Quote
BIG M Posted October 25, 2008 Author Posted October 25, 2008 Yes sire and so far it's been real good. I did figure out that you need to let it set up for 10 min before brushing on the baits. Quote
ejtaylor822 Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Very cool. Love that bottom one. Very nice work! Quote
SudoomFisher Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Ever notice any difference in effectiveness by the size of the scales you use? All look sweet by the way Quote
ernel Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Love the top one. It is definatly an original looking scheme! ;D Quote
cootertom Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Good looking cranks! Like the scheme on the top crank. I received my E-Tex but I am trying to use all the other sealer I have first and haven't tried it yet. Is the 10 minutes to let the air bubbles escape? Quote
BIG M Posted October 29, 2008 Author Posted October 29, 2008 The 10 min wait time lets the bubbles rise and lets the epoxy start to cure a little. It's so thin and runny that it will make waves as it's turning on the drying wheel. A real pain to sand those down before the second coat. Quote
