May, 2014, I was throwing an XCaliber ZX2 popper when I tried a difficult cast and the popper got tangled high in a bush on the bank.

Today, I looked to the area where I had lost the bait and saw something white shining in the sun.

I was the XCaliber I had lost last year.

So I went to the bush and pulled the branch down and retrieved the lure.

The XCaliber is in perfect condition. Hooks have no rust nor does the eye.

And the feather tail is not damaged.

Now to go back to the same area this summer and get the Rat-L-Trap I threw in the tree today.

(Caught 12 heavy and green bass and one big white crappie plus watched the bass fight off the bluegills from their beds.)

Fishing Lake Jackson in Ga in january we went up in a nasty looking cove full of rocks,logs, and trash. My partner had to answer natures call so we powerpoled down so he could shimmy up logs to the bank. We spent almost an hour picking through lures that had washed up. I have a box now dedicated to recovered lures.;
