BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted April 11, 2015 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted April 11, 2015 Frank G is a riot. He is a retired construction guy/ race car driver/ mechanic/ a whole bunch of others stuff. I have worked with his Son for decades and have recently started fishing with Frank. He retired and bought a house on Toho and since most of my trips are short notice, He gets first dibs at the back seat. He saw the TTS and Back in Black rods and asked if I could build him one when I get time. Well here it is. Delaware Valley Tackle Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Nice work as always. I'm surprised at the number of split seats you go through. They're a love or hate proposition for my customers. Quote

Ozark_Basser Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 I like it. I plan on doing a black and gold theme for my next build. Quote
Ozark_Basser Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 I don't get how those fighting butts are installed. Does it just slide over the end of the rod or does it come in two parts? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question. Quote

You can buy fighting butts, and I do most of the time, that you have to drill out, ream, and slide on the end. It's just tough to get them perfectly centered. Or you can buy/build , like I did on the Dragon Stick, a rear cork butt and glue on a rubberized but cap. It's just a pain to do the final shaping/sanding if you don't get it perfect. You can get plastic and aluminum caps but I prefer the rubberized cork. Quote
