Cgrinder Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Oh... Electronic music for me pretty much begins with Nine Inch Nails and Ministry and ends with Puscifer.  Quality. I used to listen to a lot of goth/industrial back in the day (or last week, take your pick). There used to be a good scene in Detroit.  I listen to the Monstercat albums while I study. I don't know what it is but it seems to be working. Quote

wisconsin heat Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 (edited) I like a wide variety of music, my favorite genre right now is probably hardcore stuff, Motionless in White is my favorite band. Other than that I like a lot of hard rock ( 3DG, Shinedown, A7X, Killswitch, Breaking Benjamin, Escape the Fate). My girlfriend has gotten me into some alternative stuff like One republic, Imagine Dragons, and coldplay. As well as some softer pop music. For other pop music : uptown funk is my radio jam. I would like rap music more if the majority of available content wasn't horrifically offensive, artificial, ungenuine, repetitive, and so on... jmo  That Baby metal is some sick sounding stuff, I would probably really dig it if I understood Japanese. BasshunterJGH Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 As far as country goes I can't stand most of the new stuff, but I like George straight, Luke Bryant, and Waylon Jennings, the highwaymen etc. Rock, I like a little bit here and there, guns and roses, acdc, etc. Not big into pop but some of its alright. Like Wisconsin heat mentioned, alternative rock like imagine dragons an one republic is something I've gotten into. Rap, I like 2pac, eminem (including bad meets evil and d12), and dr dre. Quote
Super User FishTank Posted April 14, 2015 Super User Posted April 14, 2015 Anything but country and hard core (hateful) rap.  I mostly like classic hard rock.  AC/DC, Rush, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, and the occasional R & B song.  I try to always appreciate a good musician or singer no matter what type of music it is. Quote
justhere Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Whatever is on the radio mostly. But I am all over the place in tastes as well. I can listen to AxCx, Miranda Lambert, Rush, Drudkh, and Beethoven all right after the other and not think it is weird. The only thing I really dislike is bubble gum pop. Quote
ThatZX14Fella Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Theory Of A Deadman, Suicide Silence. Quote
