Anyone keeping up with what their teams are doing this off season ?

So far I love what the Redskins have done , offensive lineman Tyler Larsen should be a great addition , that dude has got some skills , also adding Nsekhe , another young talent , and then there is this young safety Johnson that we acquired from the Seahawks , what can we expect from him ? a whole lot more than what we previously had for sure , looking forward to the passion and bright thinking brought by him in the safety position .

The addition of the new GM IMO has been the biggest move so far and probably the best move in the last 10 maybe even 20 years , Scott McCloughan , I would not be afraid to say he is most likely the best dang draft navigator in the NFL , not too shabby at using the free agency either , the most impressive is his skill at combining the two .

Ok , Ok , I'm not entirely sure just what to think about the QB situation , RG3 has got a really strong arm , I think we can all agree with that much , after seeing him through injury , watching him after a run , that's about all that really impresses me is his arm strength , his accuracy has suffered , which IMO negates his strength , reports say he's refocused and really working hard , the jury is still out .

Cousins , I don't really know about either , maybe the both of them are being held for future bargaining chips , I cant see any other reason why either of them are still there .

I am looking forward to the future of my beloved Skins , this season "should" be a much more productive one , but then again , I've said that for the last ten years ...

I moved to the DC area about five years ago.  I love a LOT of things about this area, but one thing that gives me endless amusement is how every Skins fan's best season is from February until the end of September.

Go Pack!

Re-signed Randall Cobb, Bryan Bulaga, Letroy Guion, B.J. Raji

I'm ecstatic!

As a Bills fan it's awesome to finally have a coach with a pulse on the sidelines.. Love what our owner Terry Pegula had done since he has taken over the team.. Been a crazy offseason. . Roster is stacked. Just hoping that the qb position comes out positive. . I don't think EJ Manuel is the answer..

I thought the bills showed a good spark with a 9-7 season , their best since 03 or 04 I think , Doug seems to be getting them in the right direction , best of luck this season !!!

Not a 'team' move, but what are y'all's thoughts on Chris Borland's 'retirement'?

I'm not saying it's next big mile-marker on the road to the death of the NFL, but I do think that its notable.  I commend him for being able to make the choice he thinks right for him.  But, I do worry that the game could look very different in 7-10 years if they don't find a way for equipment to prevent head injuries.

I think he made the right call for him , like you , I applaud his decision , this guy was poised to make a good chunk of change , he had a heck of a rookie season in San-Fran , I guess one question is , will we see other talents like him follow in his footsteps , if so , where does that leave the market ?

As far as seeing the way the game is played in the next , how ever many years , look at the changes already made , it wont be long until we are playing flag or touch football , or so it would seem , I'm all for not laying a guy out by being blindsided , altering someone's life or possibly ending ones life , but IMO , the game has become a little over sensitive with some of the calls that were made over last couple of seasons , the equipment itself is evolving and testing is being done continuously to improve upon existing technology , hopefully , technology can advance far enough , fast enough , that we don't see too much of a change .

It is probably good for the skins to not make a big splash in FA like they have in year's past.  On the offensive side of the ball there really is no excuse not to put up points.  Defensively they need some work and their special teams needs some work but the stability of the team is going to be key if they are going to move forward.

As far as my Eagles go, the only position they didn't upgrade was WR but everywhere else they are the same or better.  I have no idea what Kelly has up his sleeve but i have feeling that Bradford will never play in Philly and there will be a Mariota led team in Philly next year.  I just wish i was more of a college football fan and knew if he was going to be a stud or not but there is something to be said about a guy who was recruited in college, won a heisman, and now has the opportunity to be drafted in the NFL by the same guy who recruited him and runs the same offense in the NFL and done so in a way that has set team records..

The draft is deep at WR so they should be fine.. As far as Bradford goes I feel the same way..

i like what mccloughan has done for the redskins this offseason. im excited for the draft for the first time in 3 years. having a first round pick helps that though. but having a competent GM and personnel man in mccloughan also increases my excitement, this is something the skins havent had since they fired casserly. and i also agree that mccloughan is the skins best move this offseason. now if snyder and bruce allen can only stay patient long enough to allow some stability and give scot m a fair chance to build a team through the draft.

i feel we improved our defensive talent especially along the line. we need help at both OLB and ILB in our 3-4 defense. i also feel we improved defensively the minute we fired jim haslett and let raheem morris walk, addition by subtraction. joe barry is not exactly an exciting hire, but he cant be worse. after all, you cant place the whole blame of a 0-16 lions team when he was the defensive coordinator there, can you? either way, he will be running a different scheme with different players than he had back then. jeron johnson is an interesting addition. he is the type of signing the skins never make in the past before mccloughan. im not sold on the dashon goldson trade, maybe lovies tampa 2 wasnt suited for him, but he aint been the same guy he was in san fran. either way, i think he is an upgrade to what we have had at safety in the recent past. also like the chris culliver addition at CB, one of the few players who seemed to keep up with odell beckham of the giants last year. i get the feeling im going to hate playing him twice a year for a long time.

i think oline upgrades and pass rushers and ILBs will come in the draft. as well as some young secondary help. we also should draft a RB and TE, a QB like Grayson also wouldnt shock me...joe thiessman insists cousins will be traded before or during the draft...lot of people think we could go amari cooper in the first round to the skins. id personally love to get a good haul of draft picks in a trade back scenario...

Your whole team is still pretty much in tact aren't they ? I haven't really read anything about the Eagles this off season , I'm really not up to speed with them .

I'm not real familiar with what or how our new GM thinks , a little reflection of how San-Fran was built and how Seattle became so powerful is through his drafting schemes , this year proves to be no different for him , a well balanced mix of very talented youth , I am tempted to believe that what he is doing with some of these "questionable" moves is actually positioning the skins for better bargaining or leverage for what he really wants .

We will see how it all shakes out very soon !

Well let's see if can cover all of the trades/signings:

1-Mccoy traded to the bills for Kiki Alonso

2-Maclin resigned with the chiefs

3-Demarco Murray signed with the Eagles

4-Byron Maxwell signed by the eagles

5-Walter Thurmond signed by the eagles

6-Nick Foles traded to Rams for Bradford and soem draft picks

7-Released Trent Cole and Cary Williams

8-signed Miles Austin

9-Resigned Brandon Graham

I am sure i missed something though but there has been a lot of movement with the birds this offseason...

Colts+Andrew luck=superbowl

I do like the Frank Gore and Andre Johnson additions. If Robert Mathis can come back healthy the entire defense will look better . The Colts are definitely going for it all now. Each year with Luck they have gotten deeper into the playoffs. Hopefully this is the year.

We also need a QB to step up and I really don't think it will be Manuel. .
