AllTerrainAngler Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 So i finally broke and started using this style again. Can't deny how well it works. The problem i'm having is finding the o-rings and nail head weights for them. There's nowhere local to buy them and i can't justify paying $8 for shipping on $2 of product. Does anyone know of sites that possibly have free or cheaper than TW shipping. When i make big orders its free shipping but lately i've stayed pretty well stocked on most things now that tournaments are picking up. Quote
robster80 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 i got a ton of o rings off fleabay for really cheap Quote

Cheap and fast: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/9471-wacky-rigging-my-way/ Thats a great idea. I wonder if i double them up and put on the wacky rig tool if itll work for quicker rigging. Or just premake some so i don't have to worry about it. Quote
curtis9 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 I use hair rubber band. I think I got a pack of a few hundred for $1. Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted April 8, 2015 Super User Posted April 8, 2015 I never paid for shipping from TW. You're just not ordering enough stuff. 1 Quote

I just use normal nails. Works fine for me, get the short fat ones for senkos and long skinny for flukes and trick worms. You may want a pair of pliers that can cut a nail though. Quote
AndyNegus94 Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I go to my nearest orthodontist and usually they will give me a bag of rubber bands they give patients for braces. Works well for me! 1 Quote

hatrix Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Finish nails and heat shrink tubing. You can hook through the heat shrink and senkos last forever that way. Quote

Same here...my fishing buddy use to use the o rings but I converted him...and after lots of trial and error we both come to the conclusion that the shrink tube and finish nails are just flat out better. Super User DogBone_384 Posted April 24, 2015 Super User Posted April 24, 2015 3 or 4" tie wraps also work like O-rings. They're cheap too. Quote
wuchr20 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Local hardware store can supply the stuff you can need. Or if you have a wire than that can work too. Quote
