I've had my best luck on the lArger lakes like Clarks hill, hartwell, and lanier in the summer. But again depends on your style too.

Never fished bigger lakes in the summer.  I'm down with anything.

IDK for sure, never ate there, had my boat docked at the marina couple of years ago, but never even noticed a restaurant. Looks like it opens at 11:30am.

Sounds good to me but I can't promise I can make it. I just got offered a job and Im going to take it so I don't know what the schedule will be like.  Do you want me to message all the regular BR guys in the SC and GA region? or just let them see this topic

We meet at soap creek landing in the morning shake hands, go fish, come back to soap creek everybody show there results for bragging rights,  then grab some food. Then if anyone wants they can go back out fishing.  What you think RETIREDBOSN

Yup, sounds good. Congrats on the new job BTW! You can invite if you want, we can repost this when it gets closer too. This is a good spot, there are 3 launches within the area, 2 of them free which are not at the marina, see map.

GA 43 is the one I used yesterday, its a single lane concrete probably enough parking for twenty. I'll check the other places out unless someone has used then before and can recommend one.

18th is still good with me! Just don't change to the 31st please

With you checking in I think that's everyone who had said they'll attend, no more changes.. We'll plan on the 18th, the 220 landing on Soap Creek. What time?

Ok sounds like meet at ramp between 6 & 630, go fishing meet back up at 1:00 compare notes, bs, eat lunch and afternoon up to each person.

For lunch I can pick up one if those 6 foot subs, or maybe bring a portable grill and do burgers. Which one do y'all prefer?
