dday07 Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 A topwater along docks for me in the morning..popper or a buzzbait Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted April 3, 2015 Super User Posted April 3, 2015 Any top water to start with. Then the reliable wacky rigged 5" Senko. I'll dabble with other things from time to time, but being as restricted (location wise) as I am when bank fishing, I must make every cast count. 1 Quote
Brock Grigsby67 Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 A pop r or a strike king shaky head with a trick worm or finesse worm. Or a light texas rig with a lizard. 1 Quote
yakingfisherman Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 jigs, topwater, wacky rig worms in no particular order. Quote
primetime Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 4" senko wacky rigged or 4.8" flick shake wacky with a 1/8 jighead with weedguard, I Like the Jackal small wacky hooks with tungsten.... I also like to work a swim jig or pitch a jig this time of year, and I always have a shallow wake and floating Rapala ready to go, I find banging the small mann's wake bait off docks or buzzing the posts quickly and then throwing the worm gets them fired up for some reason....If I feel fish are still available, drop shot something made by Gulp or trigger x, or a Damiki Hydra tube soaked in megastrike, I put scent on everything including line. Super User Senko lover Posted April 4, 2015 Super User Posted April 4, 2015 Hula Popper 4-inch finesse worm 5-inch senko 3/8 oz. jig Quote
Super User Sam Posted April 4, 2015 Super User Posted April 4, 2015 Zoom trick worms on a shaky head plus a wacky rigged unweighted Senko or YUM Dinger. A jig and pig can work wonders but that is a slow presentation. A drop shot for the fun of it. A Texas rigged finesse worm with a 1/8 sinker. Don't forget your Rage Tail's, especially the crawfish. Smear MegaStrike on all plastics to improve your hook setting ratio. All on a spinning rig so it is easier to pitch, flip and skip the plastics. Quote
ABW Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Super fluke Senko 1/4 oz jig Pegged pit boss for skipping docks Quote
Frogfather Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Frog (duh!) 5 Inch Green Pumpkin w/ flake (gold, black, red) GYCB-T-Rigged Either Jig or Crankbait Quote
Bruce424 Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Flipping jigs and spinnerbait and squarebills. The usual. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted April 5, 2015 Super User Posted April 5, 2015 Lay downs sticking out of the water? Work a rubber mouse in white or gray off the wood. Like it slipped into the water. Just be ready I find the biggest bass around the cover of lay downs. Quote
