Great Video - Thanks for sharing it -

But PLEASE ~ do yourself a huge favor and invest the $15 Bucks and get a Fish Grip.

You're going to get one eventually, might as well save yourself a trip to the ER -

Besides, trebles in the hand are not exactly a good time.

those are some studs right there. and that is an awesome looking bed in that little canal. would love to see the fish that made that.

There was a ~5 lb tilapia sitting on it before I spooked her off. Cant seem to catch them on anything... All they eat is weeds

Thank you. I may even just get a net... It will help me land those fish off that bulkhead too

Good Idea -

And here's a little extra info to help you make the right choice the first time.

I like a rubber bag as it's easy on the fish and treble hook friendly. (Tangle Free)

Nice fish! And yeah, a net would be a great idea. I hardly ever go fishing anywhere with out one.

Great day today!

Went to BPS this morning, picked up some spinnerbaits, jigs, terminal tackle, and some Mann's 12" jelly worms ;) with big worm hooks.

Went out caught some good fish ranging from 3-4.5 lbs on spinnerbaits until I tied on the Mann's Jelly worm.

Tossed it along the bulkhead in 3 ft of water and saw my PB dive out and slam it.

She weighed 7lb 6oz

Briefly went out this afternoon to see if anybody wanted a mid day snack...

I'll be heading to a different pond this evening.

This one weighed 4 1/2 lbs.. could have had a couple more pounds on her with a head like that    :eyebrows:

This one weighed 3 1/2 lbs and ate this bluegill swijig with a vertically rigged ragetail menace- first time catching using this as a trailer

That jig in his mouth though. Nice pic!

Had a great time throwing lipless cranks this evening!

This 15" bass didn't seem to know how big he was...

I also caught this really cool tilapia on a grub. I was so surprised because the tilapia never eat lures.

New video will be coming tomorrow, stay tuned!

Last report, flying home today  :cry4:

Things were getting quite slow, the bass weren't biting as well so I decided to try out a new lure: a Strikeking 3XD.

Most ponds here are very shallow but one is almost deep enough for this deep diving crank. I was surprised when I caught this little guy:

As I was finishing up I decided to tie on a jig and pitch into holes surrounded by thick weed mats. Pitched my jig in, felt a hard thump and set the hook:

She weighed 5lb 3 oz

Thanks to all of you who have followed this thread and I hope you have enjoyed the reports!

Things were a little slower than usual at my ponds, probably due to the extremely low water levels, yet I still managed to get my PB, and MIBassin managed his as well. Not as many fish compared to previous trips.. 38 fish over 14" total between MIBassin and I, with many <14" fish in between...Seemed like mainly the biguns showed up rather than the smaller bass this time around, which is something I'm not complaining about :D

3 fish between 1-2 lbs

10 fish between 2-3 lbs

7 fish between 3-4 lbs

11 fish between 4-5 lbs

5 fish between 5-6 lbs

1 fish between 6-7 lbs (MIBassin's PB of 6lb 1oz)

1 fish between 7-8 lbs (My PB of 7lb 6oz)

Back to my old job... catching the NY State record  :eyebrows:  :eyebrows:
