Does anyone have any experience with these baits?  If so, please share.  Also, which size do you have/prefer?  I'm kind of in between the 1.5 and 2.5 size.

Which rod setup would you fish these on a moderate action crankbait setup or a stiffer rod?

Get the 2.5 or the 3.5

Im tossing mine a 7'1 mh casting *** with braid. Its my lighter topwater rig

ok, may go with the 2.5 then.  i think the weight of the 3.5 is a little much for me at 3/4oz

Love this bait, probably my only other consistent topwater producing bait outside of buzzbaits (although I haven't given many others a fair share).  I also have the 2.5 size.

dont have any wake baits besides jitterbugs looking to get one or 2 of these any recommended colors

I throw them on a 7'2" MH *** Green with 40# Smackdown. The wakebait has become my favorite topwater. The strikes are usually pretty violent.

American Shad is my favorite, but they all seem to work.
