Any state is fine and of course they get bit. There is a time and place for everything though. It's not magical but they can make a big difference.

Its one of my most productive swimbaits.

Can't wait to get my first bass on it. Of course, it will probably be a 2 pounder

I like that "nude black" also. The good news, prices are falling, and a lot of people don't like the new version compared to the OG, so prices will probably get even better.

I've also heard some people don't like the new ones. But, a lot of other people say theirs little to no difference in the action and they get bit the same. Maybe some people are annoyed that they are more readily available but who knows.

So would I. That might be the most I have ever seen one single person have and I have seen a ton of collections.

Whats the material?

ABS body with a soft plastic shell on the new ones

Urethane body with soft plastic shell on the OGs

I've been considering buying one for a while.

Have you fished the new ones? If so, is there a big difference in the action like some peiple are saying?

In my experience with both the new and OG deps was that the new one sinks WAY too slow and will not glide on a very slow retrieve, instead it comes in straight. I sold my new one and have only OGs now.

There is 3 deps missing from this pic. One is being repainted and 2 others(flash carp & natural saiko) I loaned out for someone to use. They are all OG deps. I'm not a fan of the new ones

I got to throw one of the new ones a couple weeks ago and I also believe that it rides a little higher in the water.

It was not my bait so I didnt get to experiment with it but I'm sure I'll get one to put through a torture test at some point.
