countryboy65 Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 1/32 oz tube jig, the only lure i use, although I sometimes catch them on a suspending jerkbait Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted April 3, 2015 Global Moderator Posted April 3, 2015 We had a 18" crappie caught last night on a suspending jerkbait during our weeknight tournament. Biggest crappie I've ever seen that wasn't swimming in an aquarium. Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted April 3, 2015 Super User Posted April 3, 2015 For me, I'd rate the 2" Bobby Garland's Baby Shad as No.1 for overall productivity. Dressed on a 1/16 oz. ball head jig. Closely followed by 2" paddle tailed swimming grubs. And when all else fails, a 1/16 oz. Roadrunner will always come through for you. The more I fish the straight tails, the more I lean away from the venerable curly tailed grubs. Quote
