I have just finished painting this swimbait to look like a bluegill for some nice bass fishing!

Would anyone kindly give me some feedback on the job?

Many thanks...

Michael

that is quality right there!

but because of the shape, i think it looks more like "perch" than "bluegill", but either way, it still looks VERY nice and it will catch bass ;)

good job! :)

trout looks awesome!

what is that bait that you are painting?

Dave, it's called the S-Curver swimbait. Michael, from Specimen Gear, sent me one to try out a few months back. The bait is incredible and swims so perfect. There extremely cheap for a swimbait and the ruin the fish! The paint job is donkey and you can throw it on a MH rod as long as you use heavy line.

Check them out on his website..... http://www.specimengear.com/

Thanks all for the kind words on the painting and swim performance.

When that said, I honestly do not wish to have anything looking like  free advertizing. I know those mentioning the lure's name mean good!

So I hope we can stick to the color design, which I just wanted to hear some opinions on before painting large scale.

thx. again

I am under the guidance that ORANGE is needed for a bluegill pattern just under the chin and running down the belly. ORANGE absolutley can make a difference. If you throw an ornage bellied frog when the bass are spawning, chances are, you will have more blowups.
