Anybody tried the BPS Ribbontail worm? I've been using the Berkeley Power Worm for almost 20 years.

The BPS worms are much cheaper and had some great reviews on BPS. Better than the Berkeley?

Hello and Welcome to Bass Resourse ~

I have not used the BPS baits but a 10 inch Power worm has been taking quality fish for me for a long time too.

The only Berkeley product that I currently use in the 12inch power worm. It is a heck of a good worm and I have caught a couple 4's and at least one 5 on it .

I too would go Power worm. But if you like ribbon tails, try the Netbait C-mac more tail action for your money!

If I need more tail action than a Power Worm, I grab a Culprit.

Berkley power worms are awesome but I have no opinion the bass pro ones because I haven't used them.  I use the 10 inch power worm a lot in the summer on a  swing jighead with a 7/0 monster EWG hook and it gets pretty freaky sometimes.

I use many of the BPS plastics. Some I really like, others notsomuch. They are cheap enough to try for yourself. My advice, worth about you paid for it!

Anybody use  X-Factor Bomb Lure 10"? On sale at Gander Mtn right now.

I have never used a 10" worm or BPS worms, just Berkley 7" love Tequila Sunrise up here.

Side question; What hooks to you guys use for 7" or 10"? I have heard getting away with smallest 1/0 or 2/0 worm or EWG is the best?

Thanks,

power worms are the best man. Another good big worm wound be a 10in sk ragetail anaconda. But overall powerworms are the best. My favorite color of all time motor oil/red fleck

I use 7" Berkeley with a 3/0 worm hook. But I have used as big as a 5/0 worm hook without a problem.
