BasshunterJGH Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 I don't hear this rod mentioned much on this forum. What do you guys think of it? I held it in the store and it felt great. Really considering buying one next TW sale. Quote

They look very interesting but when you can't get your hands on one without buying it first to make a decision you have to rely on someone else's input. Quote
BasshunterJGH Posted March 27, 2015 Author Posted March 27, 2015 I want one bad! Someday i will have an adrena with a aldebaran 50....someday EXACTLY what I was thinking. That would be an amazing combo. Thinking about getting the 6'10" mh with hg Aldebaran for jigs and plastics. they look like a sick rod to me. Yes, they are. Very light and balanced, and the reel seat is the most comfortable I've held. Would still like to see a response from someone who has some experience with one on the water. Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted March 27, 2015 Super User Posted March 27, 2015 I think it looks positively sexy. I mean compared to some other 200 dollar rods just in eye appeal alone it sets itself out from the crowd. Quote

BasshunterJGH Posted March 27, 2015 Author Posted March 27, 2015 Saw the adrena at japan lure shop for $270. Great deal unfortunately they don't have any of the models I'm looking for Quote
John G Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Ya I've thought of that.I would give the 6'10" MH and one of the 7'H a demo. 1 Quote
BasshunterJGH Posted March 27, 2015 Author Posted March 27, 2015 $550 for an Aldebaran/ adrena combo at jpls is definitely tempting though. 1 Quote
Cgrinder Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Slippery slope with those Jackall rods; if you give a mouse an Adrena, then he's going to want a Glorious, and so on. I think the one-year warranty scared a lot of people at the $400 price point. Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted March 27, 2015 Super User Posted March 27, 2015 He might be talking about the zodias. Yep, my mistake. Displaying my ignorance . They are both very good looking rods. 1 Quote
BasshunterJGH Posted March 28, 2015 Author Posted March 28, 2015 Yep, my mistake. Displaying my ignorance . They are both very good looking rods. I agree, zodias looks great too. The question is, which one do I try first Quote
