I went to cabelas at lunch today and was looking through the rod racks to see if they had any of the E6X rods in stock yet. To my surprise, not only were they in stock but casting rods were on sale for $145. So I'm now the owner of a new mbr 843. Now I need to decide whether to put the chronarch 50e or a scorpion 1000xt on the rod.

If you are interested in getting one if these rods and are near a cabelas it's worth the trip.

Wow!

The E6X is still on backorder for a lot of retailers. I am really surprised that

Cabela's would have them on sale, the rods are red hot!

I was surprised as well. I've been trying to find this rod, but as you said most places are back ordered. Never imagined they'd have it in stock and on sale.

Must. Not. Go. To. Cabela's.

Do it. When are you going to find a deal like this again?

So I insisted on filling my wife's car with gas after reading this. Coincidentally I ended up at the gas station right across the street from the local Cabela's, so naturally I was obligated to stop in. Unfortunately No E6Xs

in the Columbus, OH store :(

Took the new loomis out today. Threw a 3/8 Oz spinner bait most of the day Caught 6 fish, and ended the day with a 5.25 lber. I was very pleased with the rod. It felt great with 5 lbs on the other end

I've had my E6X 843 out a hand full of times now and I'm really liking mine as well. Also have the 844. Going to pick up the CBR 847 and JWR 854 soon. Loving these rods.
