I find i dont use anything but aruku shads, wild shiner, perch and majic shad. The LCs are tempting but idk if its worth the extra bucks. Maybe a few of those LV 500S for the cold water.... If the ice ever melts LMK

I have caught numbers of bass between 7to10lbs on the lucky craft lvrd10 in American shad.For numbers though,the blue&silver rattle trap is hard to beat.I have aruku shads, cordell spots ,red eyes,etc.Just my 2 cents.

I have a Rapala Clackin' Rap, which I like, but once I started trying Cordell Super Spots, I have stuck with them. To be fair, I have not tried every lipless on the market. But when a $3 bait catches fish for me (just caught my PB on one), why would I start buying a $12 one?

I like to work a lipless crank like a plastic worm. Rattle traps lay over when dropped. Red Eyes actually have action when dropped. Surprisingly , I catch  more fish on the traps.

I use a variety of them, and the reason is due to the differences, most are unique in some way that makes them good at certain times but not all the time. I love the Xcalibur one knockers, they seem to draw big fish and the Cotton Cordell Super Spots work well and rattle at slower speeds than others which makes them great for cold water. I really like the Rapala Rippin Rap too but I don't have much time with it, but so fat so good.

My favorites are the Xcalibur XR series and the old tried and true Cordell Super Spots. No need to spend crazy money on a lipless crankbait.

Caught some dinks on Monday using a Yo Zuri 3DB series Vibe in Prism Crawfish. They are actually quite a bit darker than the image of it on TW.

I have caught more on a Cordell than on a Rat-L-Trap.  The trap is easier to throw, but the Super Spot gets hit better.
